whats more stable than a. UBI ( pointed out to me better termed as "citizens dividend") + basic services - eg education / health / transport / housing

ohh thats socialism/communism........

If you want a yacht - sure go "work hard" :P and buy a yourself a fn yacht.......like the CEO of recently bankrupted Private Equity Steward hospital group. Now thats a neo-liberalism success story if there ever was one......

The UBI they have in Alaska is called "the Alaska/Permanent Fund" dividend. Andrew Yang wanted to call his UBI the "Freedom Dividend". (Given how differently a "death" tax polls to an "estate/inheritance" one, I agree nomenclature is important.)

Thanks for alerting me to the Steward Health Care scandal. I'm tempted to say "only in America", but that's probably not true.

PS - Are we ever catching up over a steaming bowl of Marrickville pho?
